Average Waiting Time for Hong Kong Public Housing Rises to 5.5 Years
Federation of Trade Unions lawmaker Kwok Wai-keung said he believed that there were more people waiting for public housing than the official number, since the figures were calculated from those who have already been allocated housing.


Hong Kong’s Faster Payment System processed 1.58 million transactions in October
Hong Kong’s real time fund transfer scheme, Faster Payment System (FPS), processed 1.58 million transactions in its first month of operation despite an earlier hiccup that resulted to the suspension of mobile wallet top-ups, according to data from the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA).
