Instagram is expanding its shopping features, allowing merchants to add shopping tags to their social media posts as the US photo and video-sharing giant takes a leaf out of the book of Chinese social commerce networks.

Hong Kong Has the World’s 16th Most Powerful Passport
Hong Kong has moved up five places to snag 16th place in the world’s most powerful passports with visa-free access to 169 countries, according to the latest edition of the Henley & Partners Passport Index. It shares the sixteenth place with Bulgaria, Croatia and Romania. The city previously held 21st place with visa-free access to only 155 countries.

US Tightening Buoys Hong Kong Banks’ Profitability
As the local currency continues to move in tandem with tightening US monetary policy, Hong Kong banks are set for improved net interest margins and enhanced profitability, according to credit rating agency Moody’s.

It was the first time we have tried adding a trip after the summit, and while we were tired it was well worth that extra time talking to these participants who wanted to get that extra China experience and visit at the Canton fair.
