Dear Global Business Enthusiast,

This week: Chinese people’s favorite American TV shows, missing booksellers, McRugees make headlines and more

Happy 2016 everyone, I’m sure you’re all as excited as me – let’s keep chipping away at those new years resolutions. I like to break it up by week and check in each Sunday evening on how things are going.

Chinese seem to love American TV and culture – though the Chinese government isn’t always a fan. The South Morning China post has a good one about the most popular American culture Chinese like.

I’m sure you’ve heard the news of missing booksellers? Right? Well if not, this will catch you up. Seems lots of high level Chinese execs are missing and now booksellers – maybe some rave party we didn’t get the memo about?

In previous newsletters I’ve talked about the McRefugees – homeless people finding shelter in McDonalds – now it has made the big time news in NY times.
