Business News From Around Asia

Wow, this has been one busy week here as everyone springs back from CNY! This is the thing, I was talking to Amit from ShadowFactory.io (my friend and our Virtual Reality Agency partner) and he said it almost isn’t fair. In that – there is this long holiday, and then everyone pushes and scrambles to jam in more work before slowing back down in the summer. The hustle of Asia business, what can I say?!

In fact, in its first year, Jet.com was able to scale up 12 million different products and carried out $1 billion in gross merchandise value. In addition, Walmart acquired Jet.com for a whopping $3.3 billion in 2016 – which is by far the most expensive US e-commerce acquisition of all time.
